Colorful abstract painting of people dancing tango
FIGURATIVE SERIES

My Figurative paintings represent an ongoing dialogue between what is seen and what is felt. In these works, I explore how form, light, and color can coexist between realism and abstraction, allowing emotion and structure to complement one another in balance.

Each painting begins with observation yet evolves beyond representation into a personal vision. Through texture, geometry, and atmospheric color, I seek to reveal the hidden spirit of nature and the poetic dimension within reality. The figures, or natural forms emerge as symbols rather than depictions, inviting the viewer to look not at what they are, but at what they evoke.

This series is an exploration of order and freedom, presence and mystery, realism and abstraction. My intent is to merge these worlds into a single visual experience that transcends boundaries, where nature and emotion, geometry and intuition, all breathe the same air.

Ultimately, these paintings are reflections of how the visible world transforms when seen through the inner lens of the soul.

Abstract painting of two couples dancing tango against a colorful background

Tango in the City I

30" x 40"

Oil on Canvas

Tango in the City I” celebrates movement, rhythm, and human connection through a vibrant interplay of abstraction and form. The figures emerge and dissolve within fields of color, embodying the essence of motion rather than depicting it literally. Each brushstroke becomes part of the choreography.

The composition’s geometric planes and luminous palette of blues, magentas, and golds evoke both the stage and the inner world of the dance — a fusion of spontaneity and structure. The figures are suspended between realism and abstraction, their gestures fluid yet defined, suggesting not only physical movement but also the harmony of two souls moving as one.

In this painting I intend to portray the poetry of motion. It is a tribute to rhythm as a universal language, where the boundaries between body, space, and emotion dissolve into pure expression.

Tango in the City II

60" x 48"

Oil on Canvas

In this painting, I wanted to capture the sensual rhythm and emotional intensity of dance and not just its physical movement, but its pulse, its energy, its silent conversation between two souls. The figures emerge from a world of color and geometry, where abstraction and reality mix to suggest music, light, and passion in motion.

Each couple moves within its own rhythm, yet they are all connected by the same atmosphere. The central pair becomes the focal point, embodying elegance and confidence, while the surrounding dancers echo their movements like reflections of emotion.

Through this composition, I wanted to evoke the timeless beauty of human connection.

Face of the Andes

Face of the Andes

30" x 40"

Oil on Canvas

In this painting, I needed to express the strength, dignity, and quiet beauty of indigenous identity. The young girl’s gaze carries both innocence and resilience, reflecting the continuity of tradition through generations. Behind her, the larger, faceless figure stands as a guardian presence, deeply rooted in heritage.

The vibrant palette of reds, greens, oranges, and blues symbolizes the richness of life and the spiritual energy that flows through Andean culture. I used abstraction to dissolve boundaries between figure and background, blending them into a single rhythm of color — as if earth, spirit, and humanity were one.

Dance with Ribbons

Dancing with Ribbons

30" x 40"

Oil on Canvas

In "Dancing with Ribbons," I decided to express the fluid harmony between the human form and the rhythm of abstraction. The figure, sculpted in shades of deep blue and green, moves as if dissolving into waves of light and shadow. The coupling ribbons suggest energy and motion, like the invisible currents that connect body and spirit.

The vertical strokes and geometric fragments surrounding the dancer evoke a pulsating environment where structure and freedom coexist. The cool palette reflects introspection and serenity, yet the dynamic composition reveals vitality and transformation.

Whispers of Grace

30" x 48"

Oil on Canvas

In this painting, I am portraying the quiet elegance and inner strength of women — their presence, grace, and unspoken connection. The three figures embody different facets of femininity: poise, reflection, and resilience. Though their faces remain undefined, their gestures and colors convey a universal emotion that transcends individuality.

The composition moves like music, guided by contrasts of reds, blues, and golden light. Each hue speaks of passion, serenity, and intuition. The entangled of abstraction and form allows the viewer to sense the figures more than see them, as if they existed within a dream or a memory.

Abstract painting of a ballerina's legs in pointe shoes on a colorful background

Echoes of a Ballet Dancer

30" x 48"

Oil on Canvas

In "Echoes of a Ballet Dancer," I wanted to capture the grace and discipline of a ballerina suspended between motion and stillness. The figure, depicted only from the waist down, invites the viewer to imagine the rest, her spirit, her strength, her silent conversation with rhythm and light.

The vibrant spectrum of colors surrounding her legs reflects the emotional energy of dance: the blues whisper serenity, the oranges and reds pulse with vitality, while the violets evoke mystery and depth. The geometric and fluid abstraction that frames her creates a sense of movement.

Inspirational Thoughts

24" x 24"

Oil on Canvas

In this painting, I intended to explore the mystery and emotional intensity hidden within a single gaze. The woman’s eyes expressive, calm, and yet charged with silent strength. Her face, partly veiled by a luminous scarf, becomes a symbol of introspection and identity.

The vibrant interplay of colors speaks of inner contrasts: concealment and revelation, serenity and passion, individuality and universality. Each brushstroke creates an abstract symphony around her, suggesting shifting emotions and the unspoken stories that dwell within the human soul.

Venetian Rhapsody

24" x 24"

Oil on Canvas

In this painting, I explore the delicate balance between mystery and emotion, where music becomes color and color becomes feeling. The masked woman stands as a symbol of hidden identity and inner resonance, while the violin beside her reflects the soul’s voice.

The interplay of deep blues, reds, and luminous golds suggests the rhythm of a rhapsody. Through this composition, I invite the viewer to sense the harmony between sound and silence, appearance and essence, where art reveals what the mask conceals.

Dancing Through Light

20" x 32"

Oil on Canvas

In this painting, I seek to capture the essence of human presence without defining it. The figures emerge and dissolve within a symphony of light and color, representing fleeting moments of connection and individuality. Through the movement of blues, violets, and fiery oranges, I explore the boundary between abstraction and reality, where emotion replaces detail and gesture becomes language.

Each silhouette carries its own rhythm, as if suspended in a dance of light—timeless, silent, and deeply human.

Reflections of the Soul

30" x 40"

Oil on Canvas

This painting captures the rhythm of human presence within abstraction. The forms, though indistinct, evoke connection and solitude, moments of encounter and separation that exist simultaneously in the same plane.

Bathed in a symphony of blues, violets, and warm orange tones, the composition reveals layers of atmosphere and reflection. The colors flow into one another like fragments of memory, suggesting both the tangible and the spiritual dimensions of human existence. The soft outlines and blurred transitions express the transience of identity and the mystery of perception.

Jazz Musicians

Jazz Band

24" x 24"

Oil on Canvas

This painting celebrates the energy and improvisation of jazz. The musicians emerge from a vibrant abstract background, their forms defined not by detail but by movement and sound. Each brushstroke becomes a musical note; each hue resonates like a chord in a spontaneous composition.

The trumpet, bass, and drums unite in a visual symphony of blues, greens, and reds, suggesting both harmony and contrast the very essence of jazz. The faceless figures invite the viewer to feel rather than see the performance, emphasizing the universality of music as pure expression.
